Top 5 candy: M&Ms. Inspired by how soldiers could carry chocolate without melting, via candy shell, these tried and true button-sized morsels are almost always good. Lately, Mars (the company that makes the little morsels) have been creating new flavors, some better than others. Here we have the new fudge brownie versions – announced a year ago and now hitting stores.

I won’t share a picture of the candy – just google it; the nibbles look like all the others. Which is kind of fun. Perhaps we should be throwing various flavors into a bowl and you’ll never know what you’re gonna get.

Without a doubt, I get the fudge. In fact, when I started eating them I thought they were just called “brownie” M&Ms and I thought they should call them fudge M&Ms AND THEN I SEE THEY ARE ACTUALLY CALLED THAT BLAH BLAH BLAH. You get it.

The inside looks like a normal plain tried and true chocolate morsel but these are the size of peanut M&Ms, and the consistency is thick. Almost chewy, like a brownie. So when it comes down to it, these taste and feel like their name. And that says something.

Still, I like peanut M&Ms best, then maybe peanut butter and I actually love the M&M Crisp and for sure the pretzel version. All of those will get my hard earned dollars first. But I like these Fudge Brownie M&Ms just fine. Would not turn them down if offered.
