Heyooooooooo!!
Back for a brief review to whet yer whistle. Unfortunately. Matty is dying slowly, so he couldn’t post a review this week-so you’re stuck with me.
Maybe you’ve seen these beauties in your local market? I know I did, but let’s face it: Jolly Rancher kinda whore themselves out. There’s a new variety weekly, so it’s hard to keep up with which ones are good, and which ones are…not so much.
These, my friends, are GOOD. But then again, I dig on the hard candies. And so should you. The concept here is one I don’t normally like : the “‘2 flavors in one” novelty. Usually (as with Skittles, Starburst), it just doesn’t work. You get a muddy overall flavor which might not be “bad”, but it sure doesn’t taste like two distinct flavors. These are different, and relatively distinct. In the bag you get 3 different kinds, and for what it’s worth, you get a shit ton. I like that. There’s cherry/orange, grape/green apple, and blue raspberry/watermelon. They’re all good, and the fact that grape was included give me the warm fuzzies.
It’s most likely due to the tart factor, which Jolly Ranchers always have in spades. Because there’s that…edge to the flavors, they tend to pronounce themselves a bit more. The point though, is that these are yet another winning selection from the fine folks at Jolly Rancher. These are now a staple in my jar of mixed hard candies I have in my office, which also is good prep for when I’m 73 and required by law to have a jar of hard candies. And licorice bridge mix. The kind with the pink and black thingies.
Pick them up all over the place, but if you’re in the mood to stock up at a good price, click the purchase link below.
I think they’re gone. But damn, they were solid!
Amazon says currently unavailable. Any other places to order these Jolly Rancher doubles?

Not that I’m aware of.
Do you know if Jolly Rancher makes black licorice flavor?
Ha! I’ll find it for ya, pop. Or maybe I’ll pick some up tomorow and hand carry it just to be safe. 🙂
Sound delish. Hey, I’m 73 and I don’t have a jar of hard candy as well as black licorice on my table. Where in Mexico are they available?
