We’ve reviewed a few different varieties from Amos in the last year, and when I heard they were releasing a peach version…I knew I had to try it.
Like the others, these are oddly accurate looking little fruit shaped gummies. The angle is that they have a bit of liquid inside, but as is the case with the other varieties, there’s just enough to know it’s there, without the goo overflow, which always freaks me out. The gummy-to-liquid ratio is spot on.
Out of the bag, these are shiny looking, because there’s a slight coating on their exterior, presumably to keep them from sticking together. I like it. But as soon as you open the bag, the essence of peach wafts out and ladies & gentlemen let me tell you: I love smelling peach. It’s a perfect scent.
But it’s a better taste, and these don’t disappoint at all. The peach flavor really feels authentic (there’s concentrated peach juice in the ingredients among other things) and is just plain delicious. There’s a pretty gaping lack of peach flavored candy out there, so any quality player is really appreciated by me, and these are just that. These feel like the flavor gets bigger and bigger, which I love. They nailed it.
Adding to the good news: there are eight pieces in a 100-calorie serving, and for these, that actually feels like a decent amount.
Do you really need me to continue? Check these out on Amazon, I doubt you’ll regret it.
Allergen alert for some — these include coconut oil.
