I bet you’ve never seen this Haribo variety if you live in the states, eh? The bag is gigantor.

Our usual complaint of Haribo-if we have any at all, that is-is that they’re often make new varieties with new shapes, but the same old flavors. Well this one is the mother of all exceptions. The entire concept of this one is a fruit stand, and believe it or not, Haribo has crammed TWELVE different flavors in here:

Blueberry, Passion Fruit, Strawberry, Apple, Mango, Cherry, Lemon, peach, Pineapple, Raspberry, Blackberry, Orange.

Now that’s a LOT.

Interestingly, the chew on these gummies is a lot softer than your usual Haribo fare. It’s neither good nor bad, but I found myself kinda wishing they had that same exact firmer gummy bear texture, to give me a little more chew time to take in all the flavors. Small quip though.

Some of the flavors execute more successfully than others. I was kind of missing tasting the blueberry and passion fruit, but the mango shouted out loud, as well as the classic yet always outstanding pineapple.

So in theory, I should be enamored with these, but oddly, I’m not. And I’m not sure why. Don’t get me wrong, I liked them, I just wasn’t “gaga”. I think if I do see them again, I’ll buy and give them another shot.

Regardless, these are good. But great? not sure yet.
